Tallwatch

About

Monitoring you
can actually trust

Most uptime tools cry wolf, paging you for a single bad vantage point. Tallwatch only alerts when the regions actually agree.
Tallwatch monitor dashboard across regions

The Tallwatch stack brings together monitors, alerts, on-call, and status pages.

Tallwatch is more than a check runner. It is the pipeline from multi-region probes to the pager, webhook, and public status page — so teams stop babysitting flaky single-region alerts.

How consensus works

Our story

We built the monitor we wished we had

The tools meant to tell us when things break were the least trustworthy things we ran. False alarms trained whole teams to ignore their pagers, the one outcome a monitoring product must never cause.

So we built the opposite. Every check runs from several regions, and an incident opens only when enough of them agree on a failure within a short window. A single flaky region cannot wake you up, and a genuinely down service still pages you in about a minute. That multi-region consensus rule is the product, not an upsell.

Everything else follows from that idea: bundled on-call, status pages, and programmable alerts, all hanging off one boring, observable pipeline that is easy to operate and hard to surprise.

One naming note, because search results mix us up: Tallwatch (tallwatch.com) is the multi-region uptime product. We are not related to TallWatch on WatchUSeek or any watch forum — different product, different company.

What we ship

A small team building monitoring that earns trust — from the consensus rule down to the free-tier policy we publish and keep.

Principles

What we build by

Four commitments that shape every decision, from the consensus rule down to the pricing page.

Consensus over noise

An incident opens only when at least two regions agree, so on-call learns to trust the page instead of muting it.

Every region, every plan

Multi-region checks are the whole point, so they are not a paywalled upsell. Even the free tier watches from several places.

Built for engineers

Programmable webhook payloads you template yourself, so an incident lands in whatever internal tool you already run.

Free-tier policyPublished

Dated limits. No quiet clawbacks. What we ship on the pricing page is what we keep.

Honest by default

A public, dated free-tier policy and a status page we hold ourselves to. We would rather under-promise and keep the lights on.
